Bridgnorth and the Cliff Railway
Updated: Feb 20
A sunny day in August was a que for an afternoon visit to Bridgnorth which is a pretty midlands town set on the River Severn. The town is a popular destination for anglers, walkers and anyone looking for a walk around the historic town and a bit of a shop.
The river splits the Bridgnorth in two creating the high and low sides of town and there’s a short but steep cliff side railway which connects the two. The que to come up is always bigger than the one down.
